About World Health Ambassador

World Health Ambassador (WHA) was established to provide medical relief efforts to communities throughout the world that are in desperate need of medical and dental assistance. The Program seeks to offer medical and dental care to underserved communities overseas, regardless of ethnicity or religion, and to assist in medical relief efforts for natural disasters in the United States.

WHA’s international missions involve both the provision of medical and dental services to a population in need, as well as medical and dental teaching at healthcare institutions in the host country.

Medical and Dental Mission to Vietnam

WHA is now preparing for a joint medical, dental and ocular mission with Project Health International and Big Big World to Vietnam in October of 2012.

During this two week mission WHA will be visiting the Ben Tre and Phan Thiet regions.

WHA will be looking for medical and dental health professionals and support staff of all professions (medical and non-medical). The team has a special interest in recruiting primary care physicians, pediatricians and cardiologists.
